Radio Scrapbook!

These are just some photos from the past!

(provided by a very special friend... thank you CS!)

The first board I ever worked!

Here is me working it... in 1996

Randy and Jeffry in the Morning!

Randy White was my first morning show partner, he was the best!

My first General Manager to torture!

Mike Hamilton never quite got me. I think I scared him... but he had to keep me around because the listeners liked me and I made him money. Later I tried to show him my more grown up side... but he never really could get past my humor...probably because I constantly did things around the office to make him nuts. I'm sure he was a good guy under his stiff GQ persona.

My first remote broadcast!

Also the first time I  road a roller coaster! I was live on the air via cell phone and I screamed like I was terrified for effect, what a lot of people don't know was it was only the Desert Storm roller coaster and it wasn't scary at all. The recording is still out there somewhere and still even today... somewhat of a legend...

Me and the Mad Hatter!

I took his hat... and he gave me his lice. (joke)

This was from my first Easter Remote, where I got to drive the back end of a ladder fire truck around the parking lot... to this day I can not believe they let me do that... I could have hit a car or something! I wish I had a photo of that... It was at that moment that I realized that being on the radio would allow me to do things that most people would never get to do!

Shawn Lynch and I at a concert.

Looks like I am singing the Sponge Bob song...

Tux for the Big New Years Eve Party!

Randy and I were out at the Fiesta Bowl Parade earlier and now it was time to P-A-R-T-Y! While getting my tux, I ran into Kent Dana getting fitted... he was very tan and quite nice and even pretended to know who I was... we had a nice laugh.

I like the night life... I like to boogie.

This was the last time I got to help with wires!

Messing with people:

One of my favorite things is messing with people... this girl with spiked hair wanted a CD. I told her she could only have it if I got to put it on her hair and spin it.

Just working the crowd...

Workin' it baby...

Another way I like to mess with people is to jump into their pictures. I do it all the time... even if they don't know who I am... just like to do it.

Signing autographs... giving stuff away... asking that fella if Bill Cosby misses that sweater.

The year 2000 Big New Years Eve Party!

This time I spun paper plates on a punker's head for CDs. Just like on Ed Sullivan!

This is Dan... I couldn't take him too serious as security...

But he always had a shoulder to lean on...

He did nothing to protect me from the paper plate guy from earlier...

But I handled it...

And we became pals...

Back at the ranch... in 1996... wondering about the future...
